The young female Jedi who stops a lightsaber with her hand and the Force, is Satele Shan, a descendant of Bastila Shan who appeared in Knight of the Old Republic video game. She is one of the very few Jedis who has enough control of the Force to actually stop a lightsaber. She is also one of the few who received the highest title in jedi ranking, Grand Master.
